Kitty Cab is a local service that will chauffeur your cat (or small dog) to a vet appointment, to the groomer, the boarding kennel or anywhere else he or she has to go when you can’t be the one to take him.
- We specialize in cats, but will also transport small dogs (under 15 lbs.) able to fit comfortably into a regular kitty carrier (Vari-Kennel 100 or equivalent size).
- All pets must travel in a carrier for their safety. If you do not have a standard, cat-sized carrier, we can provide one for the trip.
- We can arrange to pick up your pet even if you are not at home—please call for details.
- Or, if you prefer, you may drop your cat off at The Kitty Jungle the evening prior to transport.
- We will provide a written report on any veterinary visit including the veterinarian’s recommendations for treatment and/or follow-up care.
Fees:
- Our services are based on time and distance.
- We are located near the intersection of Oak Tree Rd. and Park Ave. in South Plainfield.
- Our base rate is $45 which covers a trip of up to one hour to and from any place within a 5-mile radius of that location.
- The hour begins when we leave our base.
- Extra mileage will be charged at $.25 per mile.
- There will be a charge for extra time (which may be required for longer drives, waiting time at an appointment or traffic situations).
- Time will be billed in 15-minute increments at $10 per increment.
